Description
This was a great shoot. When I arrived the wind was howling like a wild banshee. There is nothing more exciting than hearing the wind and see the waves crash against the rocks. I knew I just had to be patient and keep dry. The sun would soon peak over the horizon. Sometimes luck is on your side and the rays of the sun are only lightly blocked by the clouds. This however was not the case. The clouds sat heavily on the horizon obstructing the rays of the sun. I did not panic. I quickly changed my camera's setting with the hope of catching back light that bounced off the clouds. Slowly the light started to reflect from the back of the clouds illuminating the pinks and blues in the sky. I was able to capture that epic light, but I was not able to remain dry. Nothing in life is free.
